Allahabad Bank invites ON LINE applications only from Indian Citizens for 1000 vacancies in Clerical Cadre (Clerk cum Cashier) for different States. Candidates are requested to apply on-line between 01.01.2009 and 30.01.2009 only through Bank’s website www.allahabadbank.in. No other means/mode of application will be accepted.

Scale of Pay - Rs. 4410-13210
Age : 18-28 years
Age Limit – Minimum -18 years and Maximum – 28 years (Relaxation as per rules)
Minimum Educational Qualification (As on 01.01.2009)
For OBC/ General CandidatesPass with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in Higher Secondary examination/ 10+2 of 10+2+3 pattern OR its equivalent OR Degree in any discipline or its equivalent
For SC/ST/PC/ Ex-Servicemen CandidatesKnowledge of computers : Essential for all category of candidates (i) Proficiency in Wndows/MS Office,(ii)Certificate /Diploma in Computer Operation from an Institute except the candidate who have passed computer paper as one of the papers in the graduation or post-graduation.
Application Fee/ Postal ChargesSC/ ST/ PC/ EXSM/ DXS/ DISXS Postage – Rs 50 only – Total Rs. 50OBC / General Postage – Rs 50 + Rs 250, Total Rs. 300
Application fee including postage should be paid in cash at any of the Bank’s Branch in Account Number 50007571453.
After payment of requisite fee at Bank’s branch, the candidates are advised to collect the payment receipt, the particulars thereof are to be quoted in the application and the original receipt must be produced alongwith call letter at the time of written test.
Candidate must ensure that on deposit of fee / postal charges, the branch issues him a receipt which should invariably mention under noted items –
(a) Receipt No. (b) Branch Name (c) Branch Code NO. (d) Date of Deposit (e) Amount
Original payment receipt will have to submitted with the Call Letter at the time of written test. Without original receipt the candidate may not be allowed to appear in the test.
Payment of application fee and/ or postal charges by DD/ Cheques/ Money Orders/ Postal Order etc will not be accepted.
Application once made will not be allowed to be withdrawn and fees once paid will not be refunded on any account nor can it be held in reserve for any other selection process
Selection ProcedureFinal selection will be made on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in the written test & interview and will be strictly according to merit.
