OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB Should be B.Tech, B.Sc (Science) preferably with ITIL/PMP certified with the following purpose:• Experience managing a team of IT Transitions engineers• Should have managed large/complex transitions from IT perspective (preferably onsite) • Strong knowledge on complete BPO operations & involved IT components functionality• Should have experience responding RFI/RFP proposals providing IT design, connectivity & IT related pricing. • Should have strong domain knowledge on voice operations.• Hands-on Experience on LAN, WAN & Voice/ Telecom, VLAN, DS, T1 and ISDN links• Experience developing and maintaining procedural documentation.• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking• Strong written and Oral English communication skills• Strong customer service skills• Strong partner/vendor relationship management skills• Proven leadership skillsDESIRED PROFILE• 6+ years of relevant BPO IT experience.• Must have excellent communication skills.• Should have good understanding/exposure on WAN / LAN / voice data systems & circuits / telecom.• Actively involved in Proposal Defense for RFPs from IT perspective• Exposure to quality standards & business processes.• Energetic, self motivated professional should be able to drive things independently.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESPrimary job responsibilities of the position includes:• Leading Technology Transitions team• IT SPOC for Business teams for responding to RFI & RFP's• Design Technology Solution & budget for Technology costs for outsourced business opportunities• Respond to all IT queries from Customers during RFI/RFP phase• Actively involved in Proposal Defense for RFPs from IT perspective• Leading key Projects for a specific project duration.• Designing & Implementing solutions & leading until steady state operations• SPOC of the IT Team for organization wide BCP/DRP formulation & initiative from Technology perspective.• Interact with Third party System Integrators / vendors coordination to design solutions.• Manage & negotiate change requests from customer• Research on the emerging technologies to create a knowledge base for designing technology solution• Communicate with all parties involved in the project, especially the customer’s organization, in order to win and keep their commitment, recognize their contribution to the project and ensure that they are all aware of the decisions that will have an impact on their work• Owner of end-to-end documentation of the undertaken project
