Position: Business Analyst ( JAVA )




Desired Candidate Profile:

Ability to interact with clients to understand system requirements.
Ability to document system requirements where they can be understood by a development team (writing functional specification).
Ability to respond to RFI/RFP Requests.
Experience in business requirement gathering, developing functional requirement specifications, documenting application use cases & workflow.
Ability to work with various stakeholders & filter requirements into the product roadmap.
Should be able to undertake tasks independently or as apart of team related to the requirements & design phase of JAVA / J2EE projects.
Proficient at doing a need gap analysis.
Prior onsite experience will be an added advantage.
Willingness to travel overseas preferred.
Should have good knowledge on JAVA / J2EE Technologies.


Job Description:


Develops practical & innovative ways to identify & meet goals.
Is responsible for work that is less defined in scope & has the understanding & experience to execute business objectives.
This role has the ability to effect short-term & some long-term business goals.
Serve as technical expert on JAVA / J2EE domain, including code, interfaces & data flows.
Provide technical &/or project leadership function for assigned engineering analysis & computing projects on JAVA / J2EE Technologies.
Responsible for the maintenance of in-place programs; coordinates with project teams & business analysts to translate detailed specifications into new or enhanced application solutions.
Demonstrate command of multiple programming languages, basic systems analysis techniques, testing, debugging, documentation standards, file design, storage, & interfacing.
Maintain peer relationships across IT areas (infrastructure, operations, etc) to support effective implementations.
Perform assigned tasks & project assignments in order to meet goals and objectives.
Through technical leadership, assist others in the accomplishment to work assignments.
Provide technical expertise & counsel to management, other organizations, & special projects personnel.
Direct the preparation of & approve appropriate reports and communicate status and results.
Make technical decisions by applying fundamental engineering principles and specialized knowledge or skills to assigned tasks.
Establish the priority of work and assignment of personnel to meet objectives.
Estimate costs and schedules; recommend resource required and solutions to problems, which arise during the course of a project.
Serve as a primary interface with internal and external contributing organization relative to technical requirements, directions and problem resolution.
Collaborate with management in developing technical directions, setting objectives, and setting realistic and challenging goals.
