Role & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include:
• Gather, examine, and analyze data; execute analytic components of projects; write technical specifications for manipulating data; produce reports, graphs, and summaries.
• Use Model Builder, Fair Isaac's proprietary analytic software tool, to complete assigned project tasks.
• Develop solutions within the project framework related to characteristic generation, characteristic audit and model validations.
• Assist and develop technical documentation for predictive model projects, Basel II projects and ad-hoc projects.
• Assist in the production of operational and administrative reports for senior leadership, including production of revenue forecast, staffing forecast and contract review summaries.
• Provides regular updates to project managers, working with colleagues around the globe.
• Maintains quality control and ensures the maintenance of project documentation.
• Maintains a strong personal base of knowledge with respect to analytic software tools, JAVA programming, SAS programming, financial services industry trends and issues
Expereince & Qualification:
BS in a technical field, or equivalent professional experience beyond the baccalaureate degree.
• At least 1 year experience with JAVA, C++ or SAS, with proven experience using advanced programming language procedures.
• Familiarity with different types and forms of data preferred, including main frame, common database formats and tools used to access and analyze data in such formats.
• Course work in probability, statistics and quantitative methods required, including at least one semester of an applied statistics class.
• Knowledge of statistical methods and quantitative analysis preferred.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and skills to develop and review technical documentation.
• Demonstrated knowledge of MS office, with advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Experience with the Oracle E-Business suite preferred.
